Josias Lopez is a Los Angeles artist, filmmaker, and programmer. His work engages with the fluctuations in queer sensibilities: the discrete and converging aesthetics of queerness, in his fiction, non-fiction, and multi-channel installation work. Exploring these alternative experiences of these realities in both physical spaces and the cinematic screen.

He curates a film program called Queerdiosyncrasies; a selection of experimental films where the content of the films doesn't need to express these sensibilities, just made by queer people overall. He was a 2023 Fellow at The Flaherty Film Seminar. He has his MFA in Film/Video from California Institute of the Arts.
